tcpsymphony#2 is a later version of a tcpdump-based packet sonification

what you can listen to here is a mapping of different packet types (TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP) to sample-based synths. for each packet type mapping, the variable parameters of each packet are mapped on internal synth parameters. raw network traffic sonification, timing is handled on an on-arrival basis.

in addition there is a timing quantization engine at work, where the timing snap can be modulated from unconstrained on-arrival to full grid alignment. the model works like a bucket, where all events are collected, then flushed on the next grid event.

For this release, the raw session captures, all of duration > 10 minutes, were reduced with autoedit using sequential segment selection for narrative snap.
